Sandwiched between the Mekong and the Nam Khan River, Luang Prabang is oh so pretty and ever so romantic! This old French colonial town became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995 and nowadays it’s very popular with visitors to Laos.

- Wat Xieng Thong – one of the largest temples in Luang Prabang. A symbol of great historic importance, its structure has characteristics of 16th-century Lao architecture; where you will also see the impressive “Tree of Life” Mosaic – one side of this temple is a glass mosaic depicting the Tree of Life created in 1960 by Lao craftsmen.
